Ex-WWF Star Accused of Killing Wife
Haynes, 70, was arrested and charged with murder on Wednesday after allegedly shooting his wife, Janette Becraft, 85, in their Portland home on February 10, 2024.
According to Portland police, Haynes allegedly shot and killed his wife in their home on February 10, 2024, at 3:23 pm PST. Becraft was found dead in the home, and Haynes was taken into custody.
Haynes, who competed in the World Wrestling Federation in the 1980s, has been charged with murder and is being held in the Multnomah County Jail. His arraignment is scheduled for Thursday.
The investigation into Becraft's death is ongoing.
