Jillian Rose Reed and Marty Shannon Marry
'Awkward.' actress Jillian Rose Reed and longtime boyfriend Marty Shannon tied the knot on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
Reed, 30, and Shannon, 31, exchanged vows in a romantic ceremony at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, California, in front of close family and friends. The couple has been dating since 2014.
“We are so excited to start this new chapter in our lives together,” Reed told PEOPLE. “Marty is my best friend, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.”
The actress looked stunning in a custom-made Monique Lhuillier gown, while Shannon looked dapper in a navy tuxedo. The couple’s wedding was officiated by Reed’s former “Awkward.” co-star, Greer Grammer.
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour and reception with live music and dancing. The couple’s first dance was to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Elvis Presley.
Reed and Shannon are both actors. Reed is best known for her role as Tamara Kaplan on “Awkward.”, while Shannon has appeared in films such as “The Way Way Back” and “The DUFF”.
